Monohull Support Yacht

65m
After the success of the Catamaran Support vessels Armon Shipyards wants to expand their portfolio to be able to cater for clients which prefer a monohull support vessel.
MY Origami 65m is the first development of the series of monohull support vessels starting from 55m to 75m, Origami features a very simple aluminium hull shape contrasted by a superstructure design that takes inspiration from the Japanese artisan practice of folding paper.
Origami Art has impacted how designers have perceived and built architecture and design since the 17th century.

In the design, the paper has been replaced by metal sheets, which have been folded to create angular and geometric forms across the superstructure.
She features a beam of 12 meters and a draft of approximately 3 meters. These dimensions will allow her to carry a fuel load for world wide operation in support of the mothership.

Like Nebula she also features a helicopter hangar able to be used without folding the blades providing the ultimate protection to the helicopter and allowing the helicopter to travel worldwide with the yacht.
The large tender deck has sufficient space for three large tenders or two tenders and a submarine plus an array of other water toys.
The interior accommodation is arranged for a crew of 22 and also features a spacious crew lounge and gym. Depending on the specific client requirements the Interior layout can be arranged with flexibility to allow staff cabins, guest cabins or even scientific laboratories to be included.
The systems and engineering will be a continuous development of the standards and quality that Armon have produced to date. Combining latest equipment technology with their standards of proven reliability. With the various production facilities and decades of commercial shipbuilding experience Armon Shipyard is able to build boats in a highly efficient process.
This 65m monohull is fully custom and will be part of a series of monohull support vessels to be able to cater for different client requirements.
